Marine Tower Super Panorama Go!

Following Makoto and Yoko’s wedding reception, which was on the second floor of Marine tower, Robby and I said thanks to the bride and groom as well as their parents and then linked up with Yoshi who was to be our guide for the next adventure.

In our hands were shopping bags from Barney’s New York which held gifts for the wedding attendees. In those bags were a small envelope holding a ticket to ride an elevator to the observation deck of the tower – 348 ft. from the ground. After a cramped ride to the top, the doors opened to an amazing view of Yokohama. On a clear day, Yoshi said, you can see Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy at that point; though it was all blue skies during the wedding.

I was so excited about the view I took hundreds of pictures – going window-to-window shooting every possible angle – winding up with some awesome panoramas.

I’ve got other projects that need my attention, so that’s all I got for tonight. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll post our adventures with Yoshi, which included the Mario Bros. – no joke.  For now, check out this awesome light found in a bar in Yokohama.
