The Leak!
A few weeks back on twitter, Cambo made a comment about how he was researching polka music for a beat battle he was going to be in. That peaked my interest. So I looked into it some and watched a few youtube videos and came to a decision — since I’m not selling beats or putting out albums, why not compete? I asked Cambo for a contact and he put me on to Phillip Drummond who hosts a variety of beat battles in SF.
Now, I’m not going to be able to make September’s Beatles battle, so I’m getting prepped for October 29th’s “Rocky Horror Beat Show.” In fact, the only reason I’m even writing about this so early is because I installed a new plugin that gives me the same inline mp3 player as okayplayer.com and I just wanna show it off.
So, here’s a leak of a beat I’m working on the the “Rocky Horror Beat Show”: Superheroes. It’s very rough, but I think you’ll get the point.
